My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**SPECIAL THANKS TO A DBC ANGEL FOR SPONSORING PIGLET WHILE HE IS IN OUR PROGRAM**

Piglet is a white American Pit Bull Terrier with a cute brown patch at the base of his tail. He got his name because when he was a baby, he looked just like a little white baby pig. Piglet had been previously adopted from DBC in 2012 by a wonderful family who loved him very much. Unfortunately, Piglet's owners fell on hard times and had to move in with family who live in a city with BSL (breed specific legislation). With nowhere else to turn and not wanting to endanger Piglet's life, the family made the tough decision to return him to DBC, and we are happy to have him back. He is a fun boy, a real goofball, that will keep you laughing at his antics. He loves to play fetch and run around the yard like a goofy boy. And the more you laugh at him, the more he likes to goof around. He is quite a character, but he is also very well behaved. He knows his basic commands (sit, stay, down, etc.) and is crate trained. Piggy gets along with children and other animals, but proper introductions are always required to make sure it's a good match for everyone. At times Piggy can be a little tentative when meeting new people, but after he warms up to you, he is a good cuddler, a real lover. Piglet is 2 years old, weighing 40 pounds.

If you would like to meet Piglet, please fill out the pre-adoption application at www.dbcdogs.org

Adoption fee: $250 includes Micro-chipping, Crate, Vaccinations, Rabies Certificate, Spay/Neuter, Heartworm Free, and 12 Months of Training after the adoption is complete.
