My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Messer and as you can see by my picture I am a young pure bred Golden Retriever. I was released to AGK by a breeder in Kentucky. I am just 2 years old. I am quite large and in charge and the doc says I need to lose 25 pounds! WHOA! I guess 102 pounds is not healthy for my frame. Wonder if they have Jenny Craig for dogs? Anyway, despite a pretty bad ear infection, I am healthy. I do need a family that has experience with a "bossy" golden. See my picture? I am EXTREMELY sweet and loving but I don't like to get pushed around. I hear training is in my near future which is good because I am a very smart boy. I get along with other dogs and cats but no kids please - they steal my food and I don't like that. I need a patient family who wants to snuggle with me after a good, long walk or a nice game of fetch. Love, Messer
