Roxie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Roxie's Story...
How did someone as cute as Roxie end up in a shelter!? Hard to believe. Well...she's out now and very happy about it.

Roxie's foster mom sings her praises. She is calm, sweet and friendly, and house-trained! The resident dogs in the foster home don't let just anyone into their social circle, but they have accepted Roxie already. Even the cat gets along with her.

Roxie is a miniature poodle mix who is only about a year old. At about 15 lbs, she is the perfect size to go everywhere with you. With a little more practice on leash she will be able to accompany you on walks around the neighborhood. She will need regular grooming to keep looking her best.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxie, a Castro Valley Miniature Poodle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Poodle for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Miniature Poodle dog from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Poodle breeders who help with Miniature Poodle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
