This gorgeous girl is about 3-4 years old. She came to us from a breeder who still planned to breed her even though she had had a back injury at some point! Yup what kind of sick person would A. ignore the dogs injury B. still plan to breed her C. be that greedy and heartless!
When she first arrived she could barely get around and drug her back legs behind her. She is now up and walking but we call it the swerves! She is still receiving massages and basically physical therapy where we work with her legs and work on stretching etc. The orthopedic vet says since the damage is not new there is not much "to fix" we just need to keep up the work we are already doing! When she first got here it was obvious she was not socialized with people or other dogs. She is now wagging her tail, plays with the other dogs and wants to be loved! She has been spayed, had her teeth cleaned, been micro chipped, brought up to date on shots and is crate trained. She cant get out the doggy door but will use potty pads and has control of her bladder and bowel movements. She just needs someone to look past her not being perfect and love her anyway!
