This beautiful young lady is Ariel, a 10 month old Italian mastiff mix that would love a wonderful, forever home of her own. She came to us from our Newark facility after being turned back in shortly after getting adopted because the family had too much going on in their lives. Ariel is very optimistic about finding the perfect home, and we know that her special someone is out there. Ariel is such a loving and playful puppy. She is a little bit shy when she meets new people, probably because so many people have let her down in her young life, but once she checks you out and realizes you're okay, she'll lean on you and beg you for attention. Ariel is very well behaved for such a young pup. She doesn't know much about walking on a leash, but she doesn't pull and learns quickly. She absolutely loves her playtime in our exercise yard and will run after every toy you throw for her. She is overjoyed to toss a toy up in the air and run laps for a while, then when she's done, she'll sit beside you and settle down. Ariel gets along with most dogs and would do best with children over 10. This sweet girl is so deserving of the best life ever, after her rough start.
