Meet Ashby! She is gorgeous! She is a sweet and shy gal. She will follow you around and will rub up against your leg for attention. She would love to cuddle too. She gives puppy dog eyes which melts your heart. You can pull on her ears or tail without incident which makes her a good candidate for a family with kids. Can you give this sweet girl a forever home? Fill out and adoption application today.

If you would like to adopt Ashby, please contact Corrie @ doubledogcorrie@yahoo.com

Unless otherwise indicated, all Double Dog Rescue dogs have received the following before being available for adoption:

Thorough veterinary examination

All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kkennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming

Spay/Neuter

All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.

If any dog shows any signs of disease or ailment, DDR vets the dog until he or she has a clean bill of health to the best of our knowledge. This includes anything from being treated for Heartworm, Broken Leg, Cherry Eye, Torn ACL, Upper Respiratory etc.)

NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 4 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
