SCOOBY's Story...
Scooby is a very cute little boy. He is 3/4 Chihuahua and 1/4 Miniature Pinshcer. He is just 9 lbs and was born on April 15, 2002 which makes him a little over one year old. He is playful and affectionate and likes to sit next to you or lie on your lap. He is also partially housebroken, but he is very timid and submissive urinates. Scooby needs someone who is patient and understanding until he learns to trust again. He will adore his master and be very protective of him with strangers/visitors - he may need to be kept separate from visitors and strangers. This dog cannot be adopted out of state. See our calendar of Saturday adoption sites. If you are interested in adopting Scooby, please call Penny Adams at 619-466-0426.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SCOOBY, a Spring Valley Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Spring Valley, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Spring Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
