Penelope's Story...
Penelope is one of the two girls in this amazing litter. Dad was a pure beagle and mom was a small shepherd mix. These pups will be the perfect "medium" size. We're thinking about 20-30lbs. These guys will be ready to go home soon so be sure to contact us if your interested in meeting one of these darling playful pups.

For more information about Penelope or to fill out an application to adopt him, please email us at UARadoptions@gmail.com

Penelope's adoption fee of $300 helps Urban Animal Rescue save more pups from life on the street and place them into loving homes.

Can't give this pup a home? Maybe you can help! We are always looking for volunteers to help socialize and play with our adoptable animals. We are also always in need of bedding, blankets, food, treats, toys and newspaper. If you would like to help out please email us at UARadoptions@gmail.com for more information

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penelope, a Chicago Beagle/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Beagle/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
