My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello beagle fans. Odie the beagle here.

My foster home says I am a great, laid back, low maintenance kind of boy. You have heard of stop, drop, and roll? Well I can do that, though it is stop, drop, and roll on my back and wait for my belly to get rubbed.

Nothing has seemed to bother me, except for t-storms. I don’t freak out, but you can tell I am really not a fan. My foster sister is terrified of them, so we hung out together during a storm and took care of each other.

I get along with my foster sisters, and give them lots of kisses. I have met a bigger dog, and a cat, and didn’t mind either. I play with my foster sister once in awhile, but as soon as I see people, I have to go see if they are there to rub my belly. We had a party here, and I went up to everyone to be petted, or have my belly rub. Did I mention I like belly rubs?

We have a fenced yard here, but foster dad has put me out on a tie-out, and I did all right. I wasn’t quite sure why I couldn’t go where I pleased though.

Foster dad says I have also continued the streak of foster boys who did not have to be crated, and have 2nd floor priviledges. I will sleep in bed by you, but I also seem to prefer my own private recliner.

I walk okay. I like to move along, but also use my beagle nose to guide me. I ride very well in the car. And I seem to know what the leash/harness means, and get excited that I am getting to go somewhere.

Overall my foster family says I am just a loving boy who just rolls wagging my tail while loving life and any person I meet.

They call me happy, happy boy. See my video for proof. Have your sound on for it!!
