Jesse's Story...
N/M, 4 Months, Chihuahua Mix, Approx. 7 lbs.

Howdy!! I was given up by my previous family because they claimed that
the work involved with having a pup was too much for them. Hmmm. I'm
not a difficult pup, but rather a TYPICAL pup!! I will grow into a
SUPERB Canine Super Citizen as long my new family remembers that raising
a pup takes a BUNCH of time, hard work, patience, gentle guidance, and
consistent and loving training. (And PLENTY of clean-up material!)
Everyone can clearly see that I am CUTE.
I need a family that also understands that I am much like a human baby,
and who are willing to commit to my excellent upbringing! How I turn out
as an adult dog is directly related to how I am raised. That is a lot
for you to consider!
That said, please come meet me if you feel you are up to the wonderful
task of patiently and gently raising fabulous little ME.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jesse, a Denver Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Denver, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
