Berry's Info...

I am in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Berry's Story...
BERRY was a feral living in someone’s backyard. When this two-year-old came to us, we named her Barracuda because she was so angry, we couldn’t go near her without wearing gloves! Well, we’re happy to report that this beautiful, medium long-haired cat has made a miraculous turnaround, thanks to our volunteer Sarah Hauser. She now craves attention—she will actually lean out of her cage and put her head in your hand to let you gently stroke her. Berry needs a patient, experienced cat person who will give her the time to acclimate to new surroundings and she’d definitely do best in a home with another cat but she does not like dogs!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Berry, a Brooklyn Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
