Marnie's Story...
Marnie is a fun loving little lady. She is not very tall or long, but she is built like a concrete block. Of course she is an adorable concrete block! We believe Marnie is from the same mother who had Brendan & Mister Red (also on our website). The mother is a stray in our town but she is too crafty to be caught or trapped so we can take her into foster care.
Marnie is a sweet girl who likes to play in the backyard, her favorites are the tennis ball & the tug of war rope with her foster roommates. Marnie loves to have her belly rubbed & being brushed, but she really loves to get a body massage. When you start massaging her she gets that goofy look that says "oooh please don't stop, I like that". Marnie is a great lady who will give some lucky home a fun & loving new addition. Marnie is in perfect health, on monthly heart worm, flea & tick prevention medication. She will need a fenced yard to play in.
The adoption donation is $170.00 which includes her spay, current shots & microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marnie, a Winnsboro Collie/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Winnsboro, or seeking a Collie/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Winnsboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winnsboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winnsboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Collie/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winnsboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
