My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mister Red was named for one of the 3 people who helped us rescue him from a closed factory where he was born. He did not have human contact for the first 6 weeks of his life. We had to teach him to go up and down steps, and the TV scared him terribly. He was the runt of the litter, but now rules the roost! He is the definite Alpha of the litter. (brother to Brendan)He looks like a tri color Collie pup, and his body coat is grizzled but very soft & wavy. He is on Science Diet and is as healthy as a horse! He dearly loves to play with a rope with his brothers all pulling, chases a tennis ball, and loves his nylabone.. He is used to children (I have 4 grandsons) and will play and give sloppy kisses. His mother is a German Shepard mix, but is not big boned, so he is smaller than a Shepard. Red is house trained to let you know when he needs to go potty, and has not had any problems eating or chewing things (like the furniture) that he shouldn't so long as he has his toys & nylabone inside with him. He walks on lead, sits for treats, and kisses any part of you he can reach. Red understands some commands such as: heel, halt, sit, shake,go potty, go inside, etc. He would be great in obedience or agility as he learns quickly. For more info email kai@fairfieldanimalrescue.com. Adoption donation is $170.00 which includes shots up to date, neuter, and micro chip. Date of birth is approximately July 14, 2006. Red is an adorable boy ready for a permanent loving home.
