Hi! My name is Aja (pronounced "Asia") and I am approximately 2 years old. I was lost in Dallas and didn't know where to go or who to trust. But one day I followed a family to their home and they took me in. I was really scared and didn't want to be close to anybody right away. I didn't have a collar or a microchip, so they didn't know what to do with me. After several attempts to find my family, they called Chihuahua Rescue and Transport to help me. CRT took me into their foster program and promised to find me a forever home. I'm so excited about my future!
I am a shy little girl when I first meet people. But since I've been in the rescue program I've learned to be more trusting. I'm taking that one day at a time! But I am finding that people can be really nice, and they can be fun to be around.
I am really smart. I have already learned some commands such as "Let's Go" and "Go Potty";. I'm still working on my potty training, but I've made significant improvements. I can now be out in the house for up to 3 - 4 hours with my foster brothers and sisters without an accident! And I promise to keep working on this until I have it down!
I have a 4 legged foster brother and I love to play with him. We could wrestle for hours. I love to play with my foster Dad too. When we are all done playing I love to just curl up next to him and give him kisses on his hand. When I'm not playing I'm a pretty quiet girl. Aja is spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative and on heartworm prevention. She is ready to join a loving family - could that family be yours?
This dog is a CRT rescue. Reference checks, adoption contract and $200 adoption fee required. (Note the medical bills for Misti were quite high, but CRT is holding a fund raiser to take care of them).
