This is True. Look at her beautiful smile. She is a happy, playful puppy with lots of puppy energy. She likes to play with squeaky toys, a ball along with other dogs. She will engage other dogs to play with her because she is so much fun. She likes people too. She will rub up against your leg to get a head scratch or she will nuzzle you to get your attention and show you she is there. True will give you her big puppy dog eyes and she will stare outside the kennel to capture attention. You can pull on her ears and tail and she doesn't react which makes her a good candidate for a family with children. She is food motivated so treat rewards are a good training technique. I'm sure she is eager to learn some fun tricks. Can you give True the forever home she deserves? Fill out an adoption application today.

Unless otherwise indicated, all Double Dog Rescue dogs have received the following before being available for adoption:
Thorough veterinary examination
All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kkennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming
Spay/Neuter
All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.
If any dog shows any signs of disease or ailment, DDR vets the dog until he or she has a clean bill of health to the best of our knowledge. This includes anything from being treated for Heartworm, Broken Leg, Cherry Eye, Torn ACL, Upper Respiratory etc.)
NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 4 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
