I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Kora's Story...
Kora is a sweet approximately 2 year old spayed female Australian Shepherd mix. She was found as a stray and soon after had 6 babies! All of her puppies have found homes, so now it is Kora's turn! Kora is full grown at 30 pounds and is heartworm negative. She is current on her vaccinations and on flea, tick, and heart worm preventative. She is quiet at first and takes a little time to warm up to her, but she is a great companion dog. The is good with kids and other dogs. Won't you be the family that will continue teaching Kora that people are good and can be trusted?(AE)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kora, a Washington Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Washington, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
