HAHAHA, how cute am I??? Not only am I adorable but I have quite a story to tell as well. My name is Tiny Tina, I'm about 5 yrs old and I have lived thru things that no other dog (or human) should have to endure. It's a long story but I will try to condense it... I was originally (as a pup) given to my mom as a wedding gift from my dad and a few years later they divorced and my dad kept me. Then about a year later my dad and I were living in a trailer park when he and the neighbor got into a "drunken spat" that turned into waaaay more than a spat!! I witnessed my dad being murdered by the neighbor while i hid all curled up in the corner was so, so scary. I ended up back at my mom's house but she had already got 2 VERY LARGE pit bulls and had small kids, and it just wasnt working for any of us. So, she reached out to the rescue for help and here I am....happier than ever and the only thing I'm missing now is my very own peaceful, loving, and forever family!!! I get along with other dogs that are small or medium size (keep them big uns away plz!!), no problem with cats and like all humans (cept the guy who took my dad away). I do really great with my potting and walk well on a leash. I am good with kids but since I am so small the girls here at the rescue have decided that IF YOU HAVE KIDS IN YOUR FAMILY THEY MUST BE 10 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. Not because I'm mean but because I could get hurt accidentally. Although I'm good with other dogs, my very fav past time is snuggling up near my foster human sister, sleeping with her under the covers in her bed, and sitting on her lap in the car. True to my breed, I will alert you that someone has arrived at our home by vocalizing my warning!! I may be small but I am mighty!! I had my very first visit to the doggie doctor's and am now feeling like a whoooole new woman after all my vaccinations, my spay and a MUCH NEEDED dental. If you think you can give me a steady, secure, stable, loving home please fill out the application and allow me to start my life alllll over again!! love, tiny tina xoxoxo

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TINY TINA, a Mentor Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Mentor, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Mentor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mentor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mentor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mentor paves the way for another one to be saved.
