Maya's Story...
Hi, my name is Maya. I was brought to A Cat's Tale two years ago with my sister and brother. They went to their forever homes but I am still waiting. I can't imagine why- perhaps it is because I am not as outgoing as they were. I am a very very sweet kitty and I have a lot going for me. I am calm and a wonderful house cat. I like to relax on the couch or your bed I am a bit reserved and quiet so if you throw a party I will not be the one out and about trying to make friends with all the guests but I will be your best friend.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maya, a Redondo Beach Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Redondo Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Redondo Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Redondo Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Redondo Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Redondo Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
