Freddy's Story...
My name is Freddy, and I am a 1 1/2 year old Jack Russell Terrier/Corgi mix. I am very sweet and love to play with other dogs that are my size. I'd probably be good with big dogs as well. I seem to be crate trained, and may be house trained- it's hard to know here at the shelter. I like to play tug of war with my friend Brandy (another dog here at the shelter) and would probably be wonderful with kids. I LOVE toys and will even keep myself occupied with them! I think cats are nice, but I've never been too close to any here at the shelter. I know how to sit, and will usually follow your command to do so, especially if a treat is involved. If you'd like to meet me, please come to the shelter!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Freddy, a Chino Valley Jack Russell Terrier/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Corgi for sale in Chino Valley, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Corgi dog from a breeder in Chino Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chino Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chino Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Corgi breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chino Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
