Bean's Story...
Hey Hey Hey!! My name is Bean and I am beautiful 1 and a half year old golden retriever who loves loves loves to play. I am very sweet natured and love everyone and everything. I am a puppy so please expect a high energy active pup. I am great with other doggies so the dog park or regular play time will be a must and I would of course make a good companion if there is another doggy in the home. I am crate trained and getting very good at my housetraining – I’m almost there I promise!! I will love you very much if you just play with me and take good care of me forever!
Because I am a bit spunky I would like to be in a home with no kids under 10 please!

I am fixed, vaccinated and micro chipped. My adoption fee is $180.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bean, a Portland Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Portland, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
