Rusty's Story...
This is a courtesy posting.

Rusty is a 5 year old Corgi Chihuahua mix. He is about 17lbs. He is fixed, micro-chipped, licensed in Torrance and up on all his shots. Rusty is very energetic and spirited. He needs a home with plenty of space to run, no small children, lots of attention. He can sit, stay, lie down and heel. He also knows "gentle" and "off." He is house broken. Rusty is apprehensive about new people at first, but once you get to know him, he is very loving, protective and loyal. He is an excellent watch dog. I recently had a baby and don't have the time to give him the attention he needs. I love him very much and want to find him a good home. Adoption process includes completing a pre adoption application and homecheck and adoption donation of $50.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rusty, a Lomita Pembroke Welsh Corgi/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pembroke Welsh Corgi/Chihuahua for sale in Lomita, or seeking a Pembroke Welsh Corgi/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Lomita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lomita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lomita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pembroke Welsh Corgi/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pembroke Welsh Corgi/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lomita paves the way for another one to be saved.
