Facts about ROMEO

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black & White Or Tuxedo
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: foster-K.A.
  • Hair: Short
-----Romeo and his brother, Fuffy, were birthed on 8/31/13 by a stray cat who had been taken in by a caring man. He did not have the finances to keep all 3 cats. Fortunate Feline had the mom spayed and she was kept by the man who rescued her.

Her two kittens, at 10 weeks of age, were put into a FFAL foster home. The foster mom was asked not to name the fluffy one Fluffy, so she named him FUFFY.
Can you guess why the other was named Romeo?

He and his brother have been constant companions and play mates. When one is seen, the other is sure to be near by.

In the second foster home they have continued to thrive. They love to sleep with their foster person and get clots of attention. Adopt one or both of them and you will have friends forever

7 months old as of April 2014

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a non-profit organization made up of volunteers.

Our goal is to find homes for cats.

Another goal is to address the cat over population problem by getting cats spayed or neutered. This includes paying for spay/neuter for low income families.

All cats are spayed/neutered before adopted & have age appropriate vaccinations

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have some of our cats at GREENWOOD PETS and Plants on Saturdays from noon to 3 pm.

If you see a cat listed here that you might like to meet, be sure to call Kay (313-891-2591) to request that the cat be at Greenwood on that Saturday.

Adoptions take place at this time.

Adoptions also take place at other times by appointment.
