Freddy's Story...

Grandview/Belton, Missouri  LOOKING FOR A GREAT HOME!!!!!! Freddy is a Border Terrier (black and cream colored). He is 10 years old and had all of his shots in February of this year. He was originally adopted from Wayside Waif s by a friend of mine's aunt, and after she passed away, he had spent the past year with another friend of mine that just passed away. He has a microchip and weighs about 36 pounds. Great personality, and attaches himself to his owner very quickly. He does need a place with a fence, and due to his age would be best to have limited number of stairs in the house. He is good with other dogs of all sizes (standard Pomeranian that he grew up with, 3 bulldogs, a Brittany and a maltese). I don't think he has been around cats. Please message me ( or  if you are interested in giving Freddy the home he deserves - he's very confused right now. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Freddy, a Drexel Border Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Terrier for sale in Drexel, or seeking a Border Terrier dog from a breeder in Drexel.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Drexel already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Drexel breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Terrier breeders who help with Border Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Drexel paves the way for another one to be saved.
