Lucy's Story...
Lucy and her friend were found living on the streets in the small desert town of Desert Hot Springs. One day they followed a large group of elementary school students who were out for a walk with their teacher back to school where animal control was called. Soon it became obvious that Lucy was pregnant. After her puppies are born she will really be ready for a forever home and boy does she deserve it! Lucy's friend was already adopted but Lucy loves the company of other dogs so she would probably do best in a home where she would have a friend. Please feel free to call their foster mom Michelle who has kindly taken them in until they find their forever loving home. They are being fostered in La Quinta, Ca. 909-917-1113

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Cathedral City Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Cathedral City, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Cathedral City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cathedral City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cathedral City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cathedral City paves the way for another one to be saved.
