My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Barney
Color: Black and Tan
Breed: Rottweiler Mix
Gender: Male
Age: 1 year 6 months
Barney is a very happy boy who loves everyone. He is available for adoption at Whatcom Humane Society.
Special features: Barney had a very rough start in life. He had an injury that wasn't treated properly at the time, so he still has a bit of a limp. He will most likely have some arthritis due to this injury, and should be on a high quality diet with glucosamine in it. We want to make sure that he starts off on the right paw in his new home so he will need to be signed up for positive based obedience classes before his adoption can be finalized. Barney will make a great walking companion and needs to stay at this weight as it is better for his joints. Swimming would be the best for him and he would love to go to the therapy pool in Lynden!
Dream Home: Barney could live anther dog and even a confident cat. He would love to live with older more respectful kids who are ok with big jumpy dogs.
