Winona's Story...
Winona was about to be put to sleep at the shelter when our wonderful foster family offered to take her in. She is about 4 years old, spayed, vaccinated, de-flead, de-wormed, and heart worm tested and ready for a new family. She's past the chewing and naughty puppy behavior stage. She has been good with other dogs (large and small) and has even done well around kitties. She's not a huge girl. She's so well-behaved we had her just tethered and basically walking free at an adoption event. She was fine with children who were in and out at the event as well. Somebody will be very lucky to have this beautiful soul in their family. If you are interested in adding her to yours or have any further questions, please email her foster mom Trish at Her adoption fee is $50.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winona, a Groveland Bloodhound/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bloodhound/Beagle for sale in Groveland, or seeking a Bloodhound/Beagle dog from a breeder in Groveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bloodhound/Beagle breeders who help with Bloodhound/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
