MEET ARIEL....a loveable, sweet, easy going tan/white, 16 lb, 2 yr old, Lhasa Apso girl, who just wants to be loved. To say she was terrified in the shelter is an understatement. When we bailed her out, she was still so disoriented and winced to even be touched. How could this pretty little lady be abandoned this way? She was a dirty, matted mess when she came to us and even after her makeover, she was still shy and withdrawn. We are actually relieved that her owner released her so that she could have a life of love and happiness. Finally, after a couple of days, she stopped hiding behind the futon and running away -- and started jumping up and down with glee when she greeted me. A little socializing and time with other dogs, even kids and Ariel has started to open up and relax. She loves to go for walks and visit with all the dogs she meets...and while she doesn't always interact in a playful way...just seems to love the companionship. She really wants to have a companion canine in her house! She is very quiet and easygoing....she loves people and attention. Then, she also loves playing with her toys and racing around the house checking everything out! Ariel is a wonderful pup who be a great companion to a home that wants to dote on a very happy dog. Kids over 12 yrs old would be great...and she would love to sit at your feet while you work or be your inspiration! She is a great balance of love and fun!! Ariel deserves a home that will love her to life. Is that you?

We currently hold our weekly adoption events every Sunday (unless we are doing a special event) at the WESTFIELD CENTURY CITY MALL located at 10250 Santa Monica Blvd., Century City, Los Angeles 90067. Enter off Santa Monica Blvd and park in the ORANGE section in the parking structure. Take the escalator up and follow the signage. We will be located near the Brooks Brothers (look for the purple tent in the Plaza between the two buildings) from 12 - 4PM
Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!
