Don’t let his name fool you! Barkley, although a pretty active little fellow, is not a yappy dog. He is actually very quiet in his crate and is a most well-behaved gentleman. Barkley has great house manners and is a lot of fun. He loves to play and cuddle and is very, very friendly. Barkley walks great on leash and with that terrific personality is sure to charm everyone in his new neighborhood. Barkley is a smart dog and will look right at you as you speak to him. He is very eager to please and confident. He plays well with our other dogs and should do fine with children. We can cat test him if needed. Barkley is two years old and weighs 16 lbs. If you would like to meet him please complete our adoption application form at www.cedarfarmrescue.com then call 336.251.8877 to make an appointment to visit with Barkley at our adoption center in downtown Mocksville. We are there by appointment only and try to arrange the meetings for between the hours of noon and 4 pm or after 7 pm any day of the week, holidays included. Barkley is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his shots. He has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks.
