Bernie is a Shepherd/Rottie type mix, born the end of January, who just came into new hope ! She is working hard on her house training and is doing well sleeping in a crate at night. Bernie likes to wrestle with her puppy friends and is learning how much fun toys can be! She was a tiny bit shy when she first came into foster care but each day she gets braver and will approach new adults and children now to say hello! With a little bit more patience and encouragement she will come around in no time, taking a puppy class with her new family will really help! She is not scared by children playing noisily close by but just chooses to ignore them and chew on her toys rather than engage in their games. This would likely make her a good family dog ! Come meet Bernadette and maybe that family will be you !
