Lilo's Story...
Kaia and her sister Lilo are very attached to each other, and they are ready to find their forever home! These two girls are only a year old, but they are very social and quite nice. They were loved and handled a lot in their old home and it really shows- their social skills are quite nice! Lilo is definitely the calmer sister, and Kaia is a little more jumpy and energetic- like most young chins are. They are a sweet pair of little ladies and would love a home where they get a lot of attention from their humans. They love running in their wheel and are used to being in a large cage with a lot of space. These ladies are ready to write the next chapter in their lives with a family devoted to spoiling them! We do have a 2 story Ferret Nation available for purchase that these girls are living in, for a donation of $150 (in addition to adoption donation) if the adopter is looking to get a new cage for the pair, but it is not mandatory for their adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilo, a Lindenhurst Chinchilla was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chinchilla for sale in Lindenhurst, or seeking a Chinchilla from a breeder in Lindenhurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lindenhurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lindenhurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chinchilla breeders who help with Chinchilla rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lindenhurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
