NJ's Story...
Hi! My name is NJ... short for "Nana Junior". I was named after one of the cats here because I look just like her! My friends here at the Dixie County Humane Society keep telling me how cute I am!

I'm a year old, and I love to be held and cuddled. I'm a real snuggle button, so if you're looking for a cat who will give you tons of love and affection, I'm your gal!

I am up to date on all of my shots. I've also got a microchip. I've already been spayed and de-wormed, too, so I'm ready to join my furever family!

Oh, and good news! My adoption fee is only $25!

If you'd like to meet me, give Pamela a call at (352) 542-1081.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

NJ, a Old Town Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Old Town, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Old Town.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Old Town already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Old Town breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Old Town paves the way for another one to be saved.
