Jasmine's Story...
Jazzy is a very sweet & timid lady looking for a loving, low volume home. Jazzy is afraid of loud noises. She loves people, young and old so long as they are not very loud. Jazzy was a stray found wandering & hungry. We suspect she was left in the woods after she failed to be a good hunting dog (probably because she is afraid of loud noises). Jazzy is such a sweet girl it is truly a shame anybody could leave her to die in the woods. Her approximate date of birth is 2004. She has been successfully treated for heart worms, already spayed & microchipped, & up to date on all her vaccinations. Jazzy is ready to go home with any family who has love to give her. She is house trained & will stand in front of the door when she needs to go out. She gets along well with all our other foster dogs & cats. She likes to go for walks on the leash, and enjoys riding in the car. Jazzy is very cute, she responds wonderfully to praise when you are teaching her anything. If you are interested in adopting Jazzy please email kai@fairfieldanimalrescue.com or breka@fairfieldanimalrescue.com
Or by phone & leave a message 803-635-4252

All dogs are kept on monthly heart worm, flea & tick prevention medication.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jasmine, a Winnsboro Beagle/Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Basset Hound for sale in Winnsboro, or seeking a Beagle/Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Winnsboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winnsboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winnsboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Basset Hound breeders who help with Beagle/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winnsboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
