Princess Leia's Story...
bout Princess Leia
Princess Leia was one of 5 puppies that had been dumped into a storm drain in a mobile home park. Two of the babies had already died, but three were rescued by a wonderful young lady who was actually trying to get 2 other puppies she had heard about. Someone in one of the homes came out to tell her if she wanted puppies go get the ones somebody dumped in the storm drain. One of the babies is being adopted by a co-worker of her's, but little Princess Leia and his brother are available. They are both very cuddly and sweet.

You can meet this sweet puppy on Saturday between noon and 4 at 311 Harvey Street in Winston Salem. Due to a home visit being a part of the adoption process, Han Solo cannot be adopted outside a one hour radius of Winston Salem.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess Leia, a Winston-Salem Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Winston-Salem, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Winston-Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winston-Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winston-Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winston-Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
