From the beginning when we saved him from the shelter, Bo has been a joy! He is mild mannered, gets along with other dogs, is friendly with people, likes playing with toys, and is house-trained. Bo is a loving, mellow dog, with a low-medium activity level. We estimate Bo's age around 7 years, and he currently weighs approximately 18 lbs.
Bo walks very well on a leash, is loyal, and friendly. Bo is gentle and sweet, and quickly bonds to his owners. He is in a home where he is with his owners during the day, so he would do best in a new home that won't leave him for extended periods of time, and is willing to work with Bo in terms of separation anxiety he may face. We can assist with methods to help ease with this transition, as well as provide the names of trainers who can assist should it become necessary.
We feel Bo would do best in an adult home or a family with older children (over age 10-12) that have the time and desire to make Bo an active member of their family, as he craves companionship and is a loyal dog to his owners. Bo would love a home where his owners will take him for regular walks and offer a fenced back yard to play with him in. A video of Bo when he initially came to our rescue is shown prior to grooming. His photos were taken this week and show Bo after his grooming.
If you are interested in making Bo a lifelong member of your family, please reply to our rescue. The adoption application is required prior to meeting Bo, with a home visit prior to adoption. Bo is neutered and microchipped.
