Meet the Magnificent Mutts of SAFE Class XVIII! This class is proving to be an outstanding one, and why not? Studies have shown that MUTTS (Mixed Uniquely, Terrifically Trained, at SAFE) are healthier, live longer, and are more intelligent than their purebred brothers and sisters. These dogs have been in training for only two weeks and are amazing their trainers with their grasp of commands and tricks. The dogs are neutered, housetrained, crate trained, able to walk on a loose leash, on flea/tick/heartworm preventative, and able to perform tricks. I am Lovely Libby (at least that's what all the trainers call me, you can just call me Libby). They say I am like the Mother Teresa of the dog world and here's why. We had a new arrival at SAFE (The rest of us had been here for a week.) and let me tell you, he was one scared puppy. His trainers put him in his crate, which is standard procedure, and before they could close the door, I decided to see if I could make him feel better and I rushed in. I stayed with him for a few hours and I was pretty successful at getting him out of his shell by snuggling with him and letting him sleep beside me. And that's not all! My trainers say I am smart as well as kind and they are teaching me all sorts of things. I am one happy girl to be here and i look forward to finding a wonderful home!
