Noah's Story...
Noah, the Black Beauty

Noah is already spayed and has never been around kids. Noah is a beautiful all black Bombay mix currently living in Park Slope, but looking for a new home. She enjoys napping, playing, and exploring -- she's a very curious cat! She is a great companion, but needs a little time to warm up to people. She may not be a lap cat, but does enjoy attention -- including giving licks and getting head scratches.

Noah was hit by a car and left to die on a North Carolina neighborhood road, where she was found and saved by her current family, who nursed her back to health and gave her a home. She has a little bit of nerve damage to her left paw, but she doesn't let that slow her down at all -- she gets around just fine.

Noah would do best in a house without children. She has been in a house with other cats, but prefers to be the only one. She's been spayed, is FIV/FeLV negative, and will have her shots updated before she comes home to you. If you'd like to meet Noah, please email Josh at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Noah, a New York Bombay cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bombay for sale in New York, or seeking a Bombay cat from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bombay breeders who help with Bombay rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
