Sadie Mae is a beautiful 3 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound that is as sweet a dog as you will ever meet. This low key girl loves to explore when she can (of course with that nose of hers) and to cuddle with you on the sofa every chance she gets. And she is a fabulous dog to walk on a leash! Sadie Mae was taken in after her owner brought her to the vet clinic with a badly broken leg and no funds to fix it. The owner told the Vet to put Sadie down, but then a very nice lady stepped up and took over the surgery costs and volunteered to find Sadie a home. Sadie has the most wonderful face and a soul to match. She adores attention from all people and is very affectionate with young children. We wouldn’t hesitate to match her with a family that has babies because she is so good with them. This girl is about 70 pounds right now and is on a strict diet and exercise program. She is not a barker unless she is calling you over her way to pet her. She is housetrained and not destructive when left alone. Sadie does love the company of people and other dogs if you have them, cats are fine too. She is all about love, peace and happiness. Don’t you want some of what Sadie has to give in your life?
