Tucker's Story...
Tucker is a super cute fluffy white 3 month old puppy. He is about 10 lbs now and will be 50-60 lbs when fully grown. He was found at a construction site with his litter mates, the mother no where to be found. Tucker is very responsive to training and loves a good game of fetch. He's not overly active but he is a puppy which means he need training, structure, exercise and lots of love and socialization. Tucker will have white fluffy fur like a golden retriever when full grown, and will need brushing and periodic grooming.

A few times a year we bring up adoptable puppies from Guatemala—a country that loves purebred dogs and dog shows, but treats mixed breed pups like Tucker with indifference and routinely abuses them. We bring them to northern california where there is a need for mixed breed puppies.

There is a fee for adoption since we are a 501 c3 non profit. You will also get a free wellness exam at the SF SPCA. Tucker is neutered and up to date on all shots.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a San Francisco Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in San Francisco, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in San Francisco.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Francisco already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Francisco breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Francisco paves the way for another one to be saved.
