Tucker/Treager's Story...
*****Treager was returned to foster care due to his new mommies allergies. She said he was sweet and was heartbroken to give him up. But her asthma was too much with him there. ***** Tucker is a 5 year old male Maltipoo. Tucker's name was changed to help him adjust to his new life. He now goes by Treager and answers to that name. Since he has been groomed he looks like a Bichon. Treager originally lived with an older couple that moved back to this area. When they arrived they were not allowed to keep Treager so they gave him to their daughter who had 3 small children. It was too much for Treager and he nipped. That is when he was placed in rescue. He is now in a foster home and there have been no issures. He is a sweet little boy that loves to give kisses. He likes to cuddle and watch TV and sleep at your head on the pillow. He will go to the door to go out side so he appears to be house broken. He has foster brothers and sisters and gets along with everyone. He is active and loves to play and go for walks. He does very will on a leash.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker/Treager, a Wrightsville Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Wrightsville, or seeking a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Wrightsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wrightsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wrightsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wrightsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
