Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This dog is being fostered in Dallas, Texas and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or Oklahoma City area.
NAME: Emmy
GENDER: Female
AGE: 2 - 3 years
WEIGHT: 7 lbs.
DOGS/CATS: Yes with other dogs, Maybe with cats (might chase them)
CHILDREN: Should be good with children
Emmy is a beautiful little girl who is full of energy and life. One thing that makes Emmy unique is her beautiful coat. She has a sable color to her coat. At first, she looks black. But she actually has a layered brown / black sable coat that makes her coat glimmer. It is truly beautiful (you have to meet her in person to truly see her beauty).
Emmy is about 2-3 years old. She is a really happy dog. Emmy loves to play with other small dogs and with toys. she loves exploring in the back yard, and enjoys the sun. Emmy also loves taking daily walks. She truly loves everyone she meets, and will be great with both adults and children. If you are an active family - Emmy would be perfect for you.
After a full day of activity, Emmy loves to jump up in your lap and cuddle. She will freely give you kisses to express her love to you. Emmy is so loyal - she loves to hang around her humans. If you are working on your computer, she will lay in a doggie bed right next to you! At night, she happily snuggles in a doggie bed on the floor, or better yet, she loves sleeping with her humans if you will let her! Emmy isn't fond of being crated, and will sometimes cry if you put her into one. She would much rather be part of the family activity around her and is a well behaved
little girl.
Emmy is really smart. Emmy has done very well on the housebreaking, so should easily adapt to her furever family's schedule. She is also quite athletic. The babysitter had put her in an X-pen (inside the house) when she went to the store, only to come home and find Emmy proudly standing by the door. That's right - Emmy jumped over the pen! Emmy would probably make a great agility dog too. Emmy is about 7 pounds, which is the perfect size for her active lifestyle.
Emmy is spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative and on heartworm prevention. She is ready to join a loving family - could that family be yours?
