Wendy's Story...
Poor Wendy was seized from her former owner because she was kept outside in a crate with little or no food or water. This four year old pit mix holds no grudges. While she may be shy, she has no aggression whatsoever. She just wants to be loved. She loves to snuggle and be close to her human friends and is friendly and playful with her doggie friends. Wendy is safe at a no kill shelter now but she still needs a warm, loving home. This girl deserves to know what a real home feels like. Won't you be the one to show her? To adopt Wendy or mae an appointment to see her please download our application from www.bobbicares.petfnder.org and email it to Bobbicares2@aol.com Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wendy, a Freeport American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Freeport, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Freeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
