Abree-ADOPTED!'s Story...
Estimated date of birth: 3/13
Abree came to us as a stray in my neighborhood. I thought she was going to be a trap, fix and release, but she did very well tolerating me holding her. She seemed to enjoy it once she got used to me.
I think Abree will always be on the shy side, but once she knows she is in a safe environment she has no problem being held and loved. I can even put her up to my face to say hello. She is a lover not a fighter.
If you think you can provide a quiet, nurturing environment for Abree where she can continue to learn to trust people and come out of her shell, please contact Sheri at: or 925-980-3035.
Thank you for considering saving a life~

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abree-ADOPTED!, a Tracy Birman cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Birman for sale in Tracy, or seeking a Birman cat from a breeder in Tracy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tracy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tracy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Birman breeders who help with Birman rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tracy paves the way for another one to be saved.
