My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Rex and I am a five year old male hound mix. My family is moving out of the country and they can’t take me with them.

Let me tell you a little about myself. I'm a little shy when I first meet people, but it doesn't take me long to warm up. I am very food motivated, so that helps me come out of my shell. I love to play with my toys and run around outside. I am very energetic, and I also like to play with other dogs. I get along well with cats and kittens too. One time I went on vacation to a doggie daycare and I had a blast with the other dogs! Other dogs really help me to relax. I love it when my family pets me and rubs my belly. At night, I like to sleep in my crate on my comfy dog bed.

My family loves me very much and they are hoping that I will find a family that will welcome me into their home. If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application and come see me at Shelter Survivors next adoption day event.
