Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Calliope is a 1 year old Shepherd mix weighing about 30 lbs. She was dropped at a shelter by her owner who didn’t want her anymore. The owner gave no reason why, just didn’t want her anymore. A foster mom who visits the shelter regularly spotted Calliope hiding in the corner of her run. She was scared and feeling abandoned. In time, Calliope warmed up to the foster mom and was taken home, cleaned up and introduced to the family. It turns out; Calliope is a happy, playful girl who loves to play with the other dogs, is good with cats and loves kids. She is a gentle dog and knows “sit”, will take a treat nicely from your hand and is working on housetraining.
