LITTLE ELLIE's Story...
4/23/14 Meet Little Ellie. She is 9 weeks of age and new to our program from the county shelter. Little Ellie weighs 2.2 lbs and is full of puppy attitude and kisses. She is a little cuddle bunny and loves to chase the ball. We feel a home with no young children would be best for Ellie. Ellie knows the pee pee pads and the outdoors for her potty habits. The county shelter cased her in as a chihuahua x. I believe as an adult dog she will be a small adult dog under 10 lbs. If you would like more information about Little Ellie please email on her behalf. She will be at our weekend adoptions May 3 at the Royal Palm Petsmart from 10-3. Email: bighearts4pawsrescue@yahoo.com

Our pups are spayed or neutered, current on vaccines/deworming, microchipped and have flea/tick prevention applied. Our adoption donation is $300.00 for Little Ellie. Adopting a puppy is a lifetime commitment. Are you ready for a new found friend?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LITTLE ELLIE, a Wellington Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Wellington, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Wellington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wellington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wellington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wellington paves the way for another one to be saved.
