Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Billy is about 3 years old. A Good Samaritan saw him being left behind by his owner in a field after a hunt. Apparently he was too slow in returning. After his owner's truck left him in the dust, he just stood there for a minute wondering what to do. That's when they scooped him up and found him a temporary stop on his way to a forever home. He is just as sweet as he could be. He loves to be held and to be near his humans. He is heartworm positive and was just treated recently, so he needs to maintain a restful lifestyle for two months. He is leash/crate and house trained. He weighs 25#.
Although Billy is currently in Amite, Louisiana, transport to New England can easily be arranged through Animal Rescue Front.
