This handsome guy is Oliver, a 4 year old shepherd mix that came to us from our Newark facility in search of a great home of his own. Can you believe that Oliver was picked up as a stray? How someone could let this sweet boy go is just beyond us. Oliver is an all around great guy that makes friends easily and is very personable. Oliver is well behaved and though he is strong and pulls a bit on the leash, he listens well and is a fast learner. With a little training Oliver will be walking like a gentleman in no time. He just loves going out for walks and checking out everything there is to see and smell on our walking path, but while Oliver is doing the sniff-inspection of trees and such, he is always sure to stop and check in with you to get petted and loved. Oliver also loves his off-leash time in our exercise yard and will chase after a ball or two if you're up for a game of fetch. No matter what you do with Oliver, whether it's taking a walk or playing, he is just happy to be by your side and getting some attention. Oliver could get along with a well behaved, easy going dog, so you will need to bring yours in to meet him to see how they do. He loves all people that he meets and wants so much to be part of a loving family. Oliver has lots of love to give....he just needs that great family to give it to! File#23443 4/16/14
