4 years old. Chloe is a Chihuahua poodle mix, but looks like a blonde yorkie. CHLOE CANNOT HAVE CERTAIN FLEA MEDICATIONS OR HEARTWORM PREVENTATIVES BECAUSE THEY CAUSE HER TO HAVE SEIZURES. This is EXTREMELY important. She CAN have the usual topicals like frontline and advantage, but she CANNOT have things like comfortis or heartguard. Vaccines are fine. She is NOT on medication for seizures – and hasn’t had one in years, but you have to be diligent about not exposing her to certain chemicals. She does NOT have any food allergies.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chloe, a St. Petersburg Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in St. Petersburg, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in St. Petersburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Petersburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Petersburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Petersburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
