Buster is an adorable gentleman who was surrendered by his owner after stepping between his two siblings during a fight. Buster's eye was severely injured and his family could not afford the medical expenses to get him the help he needed. We are thankful they made the courageous decision to surrender Buster so that he could get the care he needed. Our generous followers donated enough to have Buster's eye removed (there was never a chance of saving it). The 2nd photo is very graphic, but gives you an idea of how desperate the situation was. Even with this grievous and painful injury, Buster remained sweet and allowed us to handle him. Once he was released from the vet, he truly blossomed. Buster has won the hearts of everyone who has come in contact with him.

His adoption fee, as with all of our dogs, is $50. Our philosophy on adoption fees is to encourage people to consider a rescue dog instead of buying a puppy and thereby adding to the pet overpopulation in our country which results in the killing and euthanization of the majority of dogs born.
