My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Winnie is an 11 month old and a bundle of puppy energy! Winnie came into rescue at 6 months old knowing no manners whatsoever, and very thin . . . . . . Winnie has come a long way! She is quite the exuberant little one with a TON of energy. Her fosters take her on 5 to 7 mile hikes every weekend and they don't seem to tire her out at all! However, this little spitfire is smart as a whip and is learning her basic manners . . . . strong willed though, so we are still working on them . . . . and she does well with her crate training. Because of her exuberance, we are still requiring a home without children. She has been going to the doggie day care and runs and plays and has a great time . . . . . exhibits great body language and does a very good job of reading it, too. She is doing very well with the other dogs in her foster home and would love an older brother to learn to exercise with and learn the ropes from! As with all puppies, Winnie will require a home dedicated to training and exercising both her mind and body. .................................. It is rescue policy to place dogs under the age of 2 only to homes with previous GSD experience. Better for the dog AND for the people!................................................ Adoption Fee for Winnie is $500.00................... If you are interested in meeting Winnie and providing a loving, forever home, please complete an adoption application at http://www.northwestgermanshepherd.org. The adoption donation ranges from $150 to $550 and is based on the age of the dog. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care, and adoption of our dogs. Adoption fees may be tax deductible as we are a 501(c)(3) organization. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations and are microchipped
